Intern Market and Competition Research (Marketing Focus)

At REWE Group you get a 360° view of marketing topics: competitor monitoring, tracking evaluations, dashboards, analyses with Nielsen IQ media data, and social listening and GenAI search analyses. Full-time, limited to 6 months.

• You structure, evaluate and advise on customer, market and competition topics. You dive deep into retailer app programs and advertising communication in the FMCG sector.
• You carry out social listening analyses so that we always have our finger on the pulse of customers.
• You support long-term projects and also handle ad hoc requests from the marketing team through independent data analysis, research and chart creation.
• You dig deep into the app landscape in the FMCG sector and help draw conclusions.

• You are curious, open to new things, think analytically and want to keep developing. You have a strong sense for numbers and enjoy strategic questions. You work independently, in a structured, precise and conceptually clean way.
• You are confident with Excel incl. pivot tables and PowerPoint and have knowledge of empirical research, e.g. data collection, sample planning and statistical methods.
• You enjoy strategic questions and have first project experience in market, customer and competition research and in working with service providers or consultancies, ideally from a business company.
• Experience in prompting for research and basic knowledge of Python or SQL are a plus.
• You are studying or already have a degree in economics, social sciences or comparable fields.
• You are a real team player and proactively seek feedback, not hesitating to ask questions.
• You are flexible and can quickly get into new topics and tools.
• You work in a structured way and keep an overview, even with complex tasks.
