The Mechatronics degree program - multi-talents In this degree program you work at the interface of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology and computer science. You are thus the link in a working world increasingly shaped by digitalization and automation of machines. As a multi-talent, doors open to a wide variety of jobs, e.g. in technical sales, production and development. The best of both worlds The dual study program combines theory with practical experience. Your first 1-month practical phase (induction period) is spent together with other students at the training center in Lohr am Main. In the further practical phases you will get to know the exciting daily work in technical sales at our sales location in Ratingen near Düsseldorf. You have the chance to develop into the tasks of technical inside sales. Technical inside sales advises our customers with its technical expertise regarding the planning, design and selection of technical solutions and systems. It also prepares customer offers and carries out technical order checking. In addition, you gain insights into the work of application and sales engineers in the field and work on diverse topics and projects in technical sales. A stay abroad in our regional organizations or at international locations can be part of a practical phase.
