Industrial mechanics assemble components into subassemblies and these into machines based on work documents. They machine or manually process components. They set up production equipment and tools, program data for workpiece machining and production process control, carry out functional tests and document test results. They also monitor the production sequence, detect and rectify faults and malfunctions. In addition, they check the quality of manufactured products. In the training workshop you will learn the fundamentals of metalworking. These are deepened through the independent creation of workpieces. Projects and orders are implemented in a process-oriented manner. At the latest from the second year of training you will also be deployed in operational departments. Training duration: 3.5 years.
