Internship in Plant Logistics Information Flow - remote possible

During your internship, you will get to know the day-to-day business in planning and production control holistically. You monitor production capacity, independently carry out the leveling (smoothing of the production program) of the individual production lines and implement them in operational production plans. In addition, you support customer order processing in the support of national subsidiaries worldwide. For example, you ensure the quality of order entry and communicate the delivery dates of our products. Furthermore, you work in a team and globally in English. You process your tasks in close cooperation with the interface departments in Lohr as well as with the national subsidiaries and sister plants worldwide. Last but not least, you work with us on the continuous improvement of our work processes. You also have the opportunity to take on your own sub-projects and special tasks.

• During your internship, you will gain a full understanding of daily planning and production control work.
• You will monitor production capacity, independently level the production schedules of individual production lines and turn them into operational production plans.
• You will also support customer order processing for national subsidiaries worldwide. For example, you will ensure accurate order entry and communicate product delivery dates.
• You will work in English within the team and internationally. You will carry out your tasks in close cooperation with related departments in Lohr, national subsidiaries and sister plants worldwide.
• You will work with us to keep improving our work processes. You will also have the chance to take responsibility for your own subprojects and special tasks.

• Education: advanced studies in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a similar subject
• Experience and skills: confident use of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ideally Access; basic SAP knowledge is desirable
• Personality and working style: you take responsibility for your work and enjoy reaching goals together with others
• Daily work: flexible work within Germany
• Languages: German suitable for business negotiations and very good English
• You must be enrolled at a university for the internship.
