Working Student in Software Development for PDM

Working student position in Engineering Services at Rohde & Schwarz in Munich. This temporary, part-time role involves software development for PDM and starts as soon as possible.

• Data modelling: Help analyse and technically model complex configuration structures and sets of rules
• UI development: Help develop an easy-to-use management interface, including search, filtering and detailed views, to maintain this data
• Editing logic: Implement functions for editing parameter lists and sets of rules directly within the interface
• Validation and integrity: Help develop checks for data consistency, such as required fields, unique keys and validity ranges
• Data interoperability: Help implement functions for reading and writing data exchanged with external sources, such as spreadsheets
• User-centred design: Help improve the application step by step in close cooperation with key users
• Documentation: Create technical system documentation and user manuals
• Modern engineering: Use AI-assisted development methods, such as Cursor, to work efficiently

• Studying Computer Science, Business Informatics or a similar technical subject
• Good knowledge of using AI in software development
• Good knowledge of an object-oriented programming language, ideally C#
• Interest in web development with .NET, Blazor or similar frameworks
• A careful approach to working with data structures, Excel files and validation rules
• You must remain formally enrolled as a student throughout your employment.
