What is it about? A 3-year vocational apprenticeship in the family-owned Sander Group – a company that has stood for food service for over 45 years. You make the difference. In our modern production kitchen you learn how to prepare large batches, ensure quality, and master processes in an industrial kitchen environment. Production preparation. You prepare raw materials and ingredients for large production volumes. Large-scale kitchen processes. You learn to handle kettles, tilting pans, cutters & Co. and use professional equipment. Recipe adherence. You work according to fixed production recipes and ensure exact gram weights and accompany complete cooking processes in industrial quantities. Quality control. You check sensory properties, temperature, and appearance of our products. Food safety. You consistently implement hygiene and HACCP standards. Team coordination. You work hand in hand with production and quality assurance.

Education. You have a secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss). Passion for food. You want to know how professional food is produced on a large scale. Interest in technology. You enjoy operating machines and modern kitchen equipment. Accuracy. You work carefully and adhere to clear specifications. Resilience. You keep a cool head even with large quantities and tight timing. Team spirit. You pitch in together with others and love good collaboration. Hunger to learn. You want to dive deeper into production, cooking processes, and food quality.
