About this Apprenticeship

What You'll Learn
- Complete basic and specialist training in metalworking
- Make fixtures and equipment for setting up industrial production facilities
- Improve existing tools and equipment
- Learn different manufacturing technologies, control technology, programmable logic controllers and robotics
- Make complex parts using conventional and CNC-controlled machining equipment
- Help make prototype tools and parts using additive manufacturing
- Set up and adjust production tools
- Carry out quality checks
Requirements
- Intermediate school leaving certificate or a good qualifying certificate from a Mittelschule secondary school
- Interest in science and technical subjects such as mathematics, physics and technology
- Practical skills in working with your hands
- Ability to work in a team
