Plant Engineer Zeitz Site / Sugar Factory

• Coordination of safe, qualitatively flawless and economical food and feed production in close cooperation with the plant management team
• Responsibility for occupational safety and accident prevention in the work area
• Enforcement of hygiene and product safety requirements
• Personnel and technical management of sub-areas of the sugar factory
• Ensuring continuous improvement processes and participation in the implementation of Operational Excellence
• Analysis, improvement and documentation of process and work flows, leading to technical and economic evaluation and design of investment projects
• Management and execution of investment and maintenance projects
• Assumption of on-call duties

• Completed engineering degree in process engineering, food technology, technical chemistry
• Professional experience in related fields
• Very good English skills written and spoken
• Quality- and cost-conscious action
• Trained in QM system DIN ISO 9000ff and food safety (IFS6 or BRC or similar)
• IT skills in spreadsheet, word processing and database programs, SAP knowledge an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office software
• Systematic and self-responsible way of working
• Willingness to travel and work at other sites
• Teamwork, social competence
