What You'll Learn
- Creation of models and molds for the casting process
- Operation and monitoring of melting furnaces
- Pouring of liquid metals into prepared molds
- Inspection of cast workpieces and, if necessary, post-processing of cast parts
- Creation and maintenance of technical documents and documentation
- Use of CAD software for the design of casting molds
Requirements
- A good Hauptschulabschluss or Werkrealschulabschluss, or Realschulabschluss
- Technical and mathematical understanding
- Manual dexterity
- Meticulous and precise way of working
