Dual Bachelor's Program in Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng.) including Apprenticeship as Industrial Mechanic - Erlangen

You have chosen a truly exciting and varied degree program combined with an apprenticeship. You will spend the first 6 months at our Rudolstadt site in Thuringia to acquire the technical and theoretical knowledge for the apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic. We provide accommodation, and the cool team on site is already looking forward to you! Afterwards, you will alternate between university phases at TH Nuremberg and practical assignments at Siemens Healthineers in Erlangen/Forchheim. During your practical assignments, you will get to know various subject areas such as development, design, process planning, and quality. You will support the design and development or construction of various medical devices. You will acquire skills in designing and modeling with CAD as well as creating 3D models. Furthermore, you will further improve and develop medical device technology and automate production processes. Another focus is on improving and analyzing processes and increasing productivity. You will also learn to define the necessary work steps and the sequence of production and ensure that quality regulations are complied with and implemented.
