Customer Matters Manager - Commissions, Personal Insurance and Broker Mandates

SIGNAL IDUNA is one of Germany’s largest insurers and financial services providers. This role focuses on commission and brokerage processes, broker mandates, and the further development of related processes and IT systems.

• Processing commissions and brokerage fees for intermediary, portfolio servicing and other bookings related to financial and insurance contracts
• Providing specialist support to managers and intermediaries on commission and brokerage matters
• Reviewing complaints and checking and recalculating commission entitlements
• Technically correcting and documenting entitlements
• Processing exception lists and manually clearing bookings that were not executed automatically
• Carrying out commission, brokerage and valuation corrections and rebookings
• Initiating corrections for incorrect or missing commission and brokerage arrangements
• Clarifying technical questions about commission calculation
• Researching and preparing complaint cases
• Processing broker mandates for the transfer of insurance and financial contracts
• Helping improve processes, work guidelines and IT systems

• Completed commercial vocational training, ideally as an insurance and finance clerk or office clerk
• Ideally, professional experience in insurance administration, commercial sales administration or human resources
• Good computer skills, preferably including experience with host applications
• Ideally, good knowledge of telephone services and customer and sales support
• Strong communication skills, approachability and team spirit
