Bachelor of Engineering - Sewer Construction in Combination with Sewer Builder Apprenticeship

You combine studies and apprenticeship and work on a sewer network over 1,550 km long. You complete a combination of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a practice-oriented apprenticeship as a sewer builder You plan, build, renovate, and maintain drainage and sewer systems You acquire sound knowledge in underground construction, sewer construction, and modern infrastructure technology You work practically on projects in the city of Düsseldorf's approximately 1,600 km long sewer network You contribute to environmental and water protection as well as ensuring a functioning city drainage system You work in a team with high personal responsibility, with particular attention to occupational safety and health protection

You have a technical college entrance qualification, general university entrance qualification, or an equivalent recognized prior education You have good grades in mathematics and physics as well as at least satisfactory knowledge of German You have an interest in modern technology and a pronounced technical understanding You have spatial imagination and creative problem-solving ability You enjoy practical and manual activities with physical effort You show initiative, commitment, reliability, friendliness, and teamwork skills
