Apprenticeship as an Administrative Clerk

Train within Cologne's municipal administration and work in almost all departments. The three-year dual apprenticeship combines theory at the Rhenish Institute for Municipal Administration and vocational college with varied practical assignments.

Complete practical assignments in organization, personnel management and personnel law, financial management, regulatory administration and social services administration; advise and support residents; process applications and requests; participate in work at registration halls, investigative services and major events; apply legal and business knowledge.

Intermediate school-leaving certificate or higher qualification; interest in legal and business-related matters; enjoyment of communicating with people; willingness to help further develop Cologne's diversity; commitment, teamwork and openness to change.
