Working Student, Process Optimization and Digitalization in Development (Summer Semester 2027)

Gain practical experience at TRUMPF during your studies by taking on projects, contributing your ideas and developing tomorrow's technologies alongside experienced colleagues. Individual support and student programs help you develop personally and professionally.

• Work closely with specialist departments to support the analysis, standardization and optimization of development and business processes
• Use your programming knowledge to develop digital tools and automation that improve efficiency in research and development
• Maintain and improve existing tools and systems and provide clear documentation
• Create e-learning content, training materials and digital learning modules as part of the team to help share knowledge
• Look after and maintain the team's 3D printers, including fault analysis and quality control

• You are studying engineering, computer science, business informatics or a related subject, or have a comparable qualification
• You are interested in process optimization, digitalization and technical systems and approach tasks independently and methodically
• You have some programming knowledge, for example in Python, VBA, Power Apps or similar technologies
• You contribute technical understanding and an interest in additive manufacturing methods such as 3D printing
• You confidently use Microsoft 365 applications and communicate well in spoken and written German and English
