About this Apprenticeship
The regionally certified Stroke Unit at the Lübeck campus treats and monitors patients with acute strokes. It is seeking a registered nurse to join a team of different healthcare professionals as soon as possible in a permanent role.
What You'll Learn
- Support patients during emergency treatment to dissolve blood clots
- Work with a team of different healthcare professionals and the neuroscience intensive care unit
- Monitor and care for patients during an acute stroke
- Carry out early rehabilitation measures following a stroke
- Provide basic and clinical nursing care and carry out treatment and diagnostic procedures
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a registered general nurse
- Completed further training as a stroke nurse or willingness to complete this training soon
- Particular sensitivity, understanding and empathy when working with patients and their relatives
- An independent and organized approach to work
- Flexibility to work a three-shift system and the working hours usual for the department
What Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein offers
- Pay grade KR8 under TV-L if the pay scale requirements are met, plus a university allowance, an annual special payment and an additional payment for accepting shift changes at short notice
- Permanent full-time employment, currently 38.5 hours per week; part-time work may be possible under certain working arrangements
