Study Assistant

The Clinical Trials department of the Neurology Clinic at Würzburg University Hospital is looking for a study assistant (m/f/d), medical assistant (MFA), nurse or comparable qualification from 01.01.2027. Part-time, fixed-term with possible extension.

• Looking after study participants including appointment scheduling and documentation
• Performing medical tasks, e.g. blood draws, blood pressure measurements and ECGs
• Organising and coordinating clinical trials from initiation to completion, including pre-study visits, study initiations, study visits, monitoring, maintaining investigator files, audits and inspections, close-out and archiving
• Managing study medication
• Organising sample logistics and carrying out laboratory work

• Completed training as MFA, nursing professional, study assistant or comparable qualification
• Experience working with patients
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working
• Friendly, empathetic and professional manner
• Teamwork skills and strong organisational talent
• Care and sense of responsibility
• Practical experience in conducting clinical trials is desirable but not required
• Current GCP and IATA certificates are an advantage but not required
• Good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Confident use of common Microsoft Office applications
• SAP knowledge is desirable but not required
• Interest in scientific projects and clinical research
