Apprenticeship as a Nursing Specialist

The Vitos School for Health Professions Rheingau at the Eltville location is looking for apprentices as nursing specialists (m/f/d) starting 1 October 2026. The nursing specialist apprenticeship is a completely redesigned three-year training for nursing professionals in Germany. The former separate professions of health and nursing care, pediatric nursing care and geriatric care are merged into a generalist training that allows thematic specialisations according to individual interests. The vocational training consists of theoretical and practical instruction and concludes with a state examination. With the nursing specialist qualification, all career doors in nursing are open to you. At our Vitos School for Health Professions in Eltville you benefit not only from dedicated teachers and practical placements in our clinics, but also from an impressive view over the Rheingau region. Here we work with foresight and with heart for the mind. Interested in a part-time apprenticeship? No problem, at our Eltville location we also offer the integrated four-year part-time training. Severely disabled applicants will be given preference in case of equal suitability.

Abitur (university entrance qualification)? Great, then a dual study programme is possible. Realschulabschluss (intermediate school leaving certificate)? Let's start the apprenticeship. Hauptschulabschluss (lower secondary school leaving certificate)? With a completed two-year vocational training or a successfully completed one-year nursing assistant training you can start the nursing specialist apprenticeship. Enjoyment of working with people and great willingness to help. Willingness to learn and motivation for theoretical and practical training content.

Collective agreement remuneration according to TVAöD-Pflege, i.e. monthly: €1,490.69 in the first apprenticeship year (increases each year). Annual special payment and company pension scheme from the first day of training (ZVK). Examination bonus of €400. Monthly mobility allowance or use of the Vitos Card (exempt from social security contributions and taxes). Digital learning concept with iPads, also available for private use. Opportunity to complete a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.A. Advanced Nursing Practice) financed by Vitos alongside the apprenticeship.
