Strategy Project Manager Sustainability, EU Taxonomy and ESG Data

Webasto is one of the top 100 automotive suppliers worldwide. The strategy department develops and implements the overall company strategy and works closely with top management.

• EU Taxonomy compliance & implementation: Lead EU Taxonomy assessments and drive cross-functional implementation of regulatory reporting requirements across functions, business units and regions together with group accounting
• Sustainability reporting & disclosure: Own and continuously improve sustainability reporting processes, ensure accurate, auditable and compliant disclosures under the EU Taxonomy and support ESRS requirements
• ESG data management & performance reporting: Own and continuously improve Webasto's ESG data management IT system (e.g. Sphera), ensure high-quality, audit-ready sustainability data, KPI/metric transparency (CSRS/ESRS) and stakeholder reporting through effective systems, processes and stakeholder coordination
• Sustainability program & strategy execution: Support implementation of Webasto's sustainability strategy by coordinating governance bodies and global sustainability programs, monitoring strategic goals, key results and targets, and maintaining sustainability policies, processes and governance frameworks

• Degree in sustainability, environmental management, business administration, finance or a related field
• Professional experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data management (e.g. Sphera) and/or sustainability consulting
• Sound knowledge of ESG frameworks, management and regulations, especially the EU Taxonomy and related sustainability reporting requirements, e.g. ESRS
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with experience handling complex data sets, KPIs, IT reporting systems and data quality processes
• Strong program and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and drive implementation in global organizations
• Excellent communication skills in German and English are a must, with the ability to translate complex sustainability topics into clear, actionable messages for managers and employees
• Experience in the automotive and/or manufacturing industry is an advantage
