Apprenticeship as a Technical Product Designer

Edgewell offers an apprenticeship as a technical product designer in Solingen. The training covers the development of technical products, components and assemblies, as well as the creation of technical drawings and documentation.

Plan and create visual representations using 3D and CAD software; support specialist departments in developing technical products, components and assemblies; create and maintain technical drawings; prepare bills of materials, manufacturing documents and technical documentation; support the development and construction of new equipment; produce prototypes with a 3D printer.

Higher vocational school entrance qualification, Abitur or intermediate school-leaving qualification with very good grades in mathematics and physics; technical interest; logical and complex thinking; understanding of technical relationships; good spatial awareness; applicants who dropped out of a technical degree program are also welcome; enjoyment of creating and designing.
