Payroll Accountant Focus on Processes & Digitalization

Modern tax advisory and law firm in Recklinghausen with around 50 employees. Serving clients across various industries, legal forms, and size classes. You take responsibility while staying close to operational business and shaping the further development of the payroll department.

Independent management of selected clients in payroll accounting with high technical quality. Responsibility for analysis, further development, and implementation of internal work processes and new technical processes (e.g., employer insolvency). Support and advice to clients on digitalization of HR processes, especially introduction and use of DATEV Personal. Training of apprentices in payroll area and support of team with digital workflows and system interfaces. Technical and communicative support during tax audits in demanding audit phases.

Completed commercial training or as a tax clerk, ideally with advanced qualification in tax, payroll, or accounting fields, or a completed business administration degree. Several years of practical experience in payroll accounting, preferably in a tax firm. Sound expertise in wage tax and social security law. Proficient with DATEV, ideally familiar with DATEV Personal. Structured, process-oriented mindset with interest in digital advancement. Ability to communicate complex matters appropriately to the audience, enjoyment in knowledge transfer.
