Financial Controller

As a financial controller in Frankfurt am Main, you will support the financial management of Actemium's projects and business areas. You will work closely with business units and division management on financial statements, budgets and forecasts. The hiring process includes a security check.

• Reporting and financial statements: Prepare divisional reporting and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Budgets and forecasts: Analyse budget variances, prepare forecasts for output, profit and cash, and identify relevant trends
• Costs and profitability: Analyse overheads and project financial indicators and help identify suitable actions
• Project controlling: Support business units in managing project finances and contribute your commercial perspective to relevant questions
• Posting checks and data quality: Check accounting entries for completeness and accuracy and arrange corrections where necessary
• Management support: Prepare financial indicators, statistics and information for divisional decisions, and support division management with commercial matters and budgeting
• Commercial project support: Help with customer negotiations and claims management, working closely with Finance and operational units

• Qualifications: A completed degree in Business Administration, ideally focusing on controlling, finance, accounting or business management
• Professional experience: Strong experience in project and financial controlling, with the ability to confidently analyse and assess business relationships
• Project business: Experience in a project-based company is particularly relevant. Knowledge of international project business is an advantage
• Commercial knowledge: Skills in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and reporting. Knowledge of contract law or claims management is an advantage
• SAP and MS Office: Confident use of SAP and MS Office, particularly for analysing and preparing financial data
• Industry knowledge: Experience in automation or industrial project business is helpful but not required
• Languages: Fluent written and spoken German. Good English is an advantage for international collaboration
• Working style: An analytical, structured approach, willingness to question figures and relationships, and the ability to explain results clearly to different contacts
