About this Apprenticeship
Actemium Service Chemie Süd is seeking an instrumentation and control technician or installer for industrial plants in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The role covers installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
What You'll Learn
- Instrumentation and control installation and commissioning: Install, connect and commission instrumentation and control equipment in industrial plants
- Sensors and actuators: Install and replace sensors, actuators, drives and field devices
- Wiring and control cabinets: Connect, wire and test control cabinets and instrumentation and control components
- Maintenance and service: Service, maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems
- Testing and measurement: Carry out functional tests and measurements and document the results
- Cooperation: Coordinate with maintenance teams, project managers and customers on site
Requirements
- Qualification: Completed vocational training in instrumentation, control, automation or electrical engineering, such as instrumentation and control technician or electronics technician specialising in automation, energy and building systems, or industrial systems
- Experience: Experience installing, servicing or maintaining instrumentation and control equipment or industrial plants
- Working style: Independent, structured and safety conscious
- Conduct: Reliable and professional when dealing with customers
- Mobility: Category B driving licence
