About this Apprenticeship
Actemium seeks someone with electrical engineering expertise to plan and build industrial systems and develop new practical solutions for the basic materials and heavy industries.
What You'll Learn
- Plan and design electrical systems, including switchgear up to 20 kV, drives and motors, for the basic materials and heavy industries
- Help prepare the technical parts of quotations
- Help create schedules and other planning documents
- Take technical responsibility during installation and commissioning
- Carry out function and system tests and improve existing systems
- Find and fix faults and help with breakdowns and service visits
- Carry out workplace safety, health and environmental protection duties under internal SQU rules
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Create and maintain technical documents, reports and operating instructions
Requirements
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or automation engineering, or completed technician training in a relevant field
- Knowledge of common CAD programs, such as E-Plan and Elcad
- Experience in planning and installing electrical systems and automation solutions in industrial settings
- Willingness to take part in occasional commissioning work and business travel
- English skills are desirable
