Retail Management Training Programme for School Leavers

Training for future managers in international retail. Over 3 years, you earn 3 Chamber of Industry and Commerce qualifications: retail sales professional, retail management specialist and trainer certification. You learn retail, organisational and management tasks and progress through roles from sales to store management.

• You start with sales tasks, such as stocking shelves, maintaining stock, operating the checkout and advising customers
• Step by step, you learn management tasks, such as displaying goods and changing seasonal layouts, placing orders, handling returns, balancing tills and taking inventory
• You then take on staff planning and team management, because our employees are at the heart of Action!
• In your third year of training, you take part in exciting projects, such as helping with new store openings, analysing stores with regional management or helping organise applicant days

• A general university entrance qualification, or a specialised university entrance qualification with proof of internships (see Chamber of Industry and Commerce requirements)
• Interest in leading a team and taking responsibility for a store
• Willingness to learn, work hard and adapt to change
