Apprenticeship as a Retail Merchant

As a discounter with heart and Dutch charm, ACTION is looking for motivated young talent who want to learn a lot independently, take responsibility and become experts in the sales team. Even during the apprenticeship you can go through varied positions, from sales to store management.

• You start with sales tasks, e.g. stocking shelves, inventory care, checkout work and customer advice
• Step by step you take on leadership tasks, e.g. product presentation and seasonal rearrangements, orders, returns, cash register reconciliation and stocktaking
• You support the store management with staff planning and leadership, because our employees are the heart of Action!

• Ideally intermediate secondary school certificate (mittlere Reife) with good grades in the main subjects
• Enthusiasm for retail
• Initiative and willingness to learn
• Identification with our Action values: teamwork, discipline, cost awareness, simplicity, respect and customer focus
• Mistakes happen! We iron them out together fairly and you learn from them
