Sampling Employee

AGROLAB is recruiting sampling staff in Bonn for permanent full-time employment with flexible working hours. The role involves accredited and certified environmental sampling at customer sites and regular technical training.

• Technical sampling using pumps
• Take drinking water samples, for example in private homes, swimming pools or at water suppliers
• Take wastewater and sewage sludge samples, for example at sewage treatment plants
• Take water samples from cooling towers in accordance with VDI 2047 Part 2
• Take samples of solids, for example deposited materials, in accordance with LAGA PN 98
• Document sampling activities
• Independently organise and carry out sampling appointments
• Send collected samples to the laboratory
• Regularly attend training in the sampling techniques listed

• Experience in technical sampling is an advantage
• Several years of work experience are desirable, for example as a plumber, caretaker, electrician or mechanic, or a comparable qualification
• A relevant background in environmental technology is desirable
• Customer-focused conduct and a professional, confident appearance
• Ability to work independently and carefully, with good organisational skills
• A category B driving licence is required
• Confident computer use, your own PC and internet access are required
• Willingness to take part in further professional training
• You have the physical stamina needed to carry out sampling regularly in the field.
• Your daily work includes lifting and carrying sampling equipment, cool boxes and sample containers, as well as prolonged standing, walking, bending and working in different positions.
• You can carry out sampling safely on uneven ground, at hard-to-reach sampling points and in different weather conditions.
• You can meet the essential physical demands of the role independently and safely using suitable work equipment.
