Sample collector as an employee or self-employed partner

AGROLAB is seeking sample collectors in 54634 Bitburg as permanent employees or self-employed partners in environmental testing. The part-time role involves two to three days per week with flexible hours. Regular training provides current knowledge of accredited and certified sampling.

• Collect drinking water samples, for example in private homes, swimming pools or at water suppliers
• Collect wastewater and sewage sludge samples, for example at sewage treatment plants
• Collect solid material samples, for example from deposited materials (LAGA PN 98)
• Document sampling activities
• Independently organise and carry out sampling appointments
• Send collected samples to the laboratory
• Regularly attend training in the sampling techniques listed

• Several years of work experience preferred, for example as a plumber, caretaker, electrician or mechanic, or a comparable qualification
• A relevant background in environmental technology is preferred
• Customer-focused behaviour and a well-groomed, confident manner
• Ability to work independently and carefully, with good organisational skills
• A category B driving licence is required
• Confident computer use, your own PC and internet access are required
• Willingness to take part in further professional training
• You have the physical stamina needed to carry out regular sampling in the field.
• Your daily work includes lifting and carrying sampling equipment, cool boxes and sample containers, as well as prolonged standing, walking, bending and working in different positions.
• You can safely collect samples on uneven ground, at locations that are difficult to access and in different weather conditions.
• You can independently and safely meet the main physical demands of the role using suitable equipment.
