Quality Line Side Support 3

To support the KONAQ2 Assembly Inspection 2 department, Airbus Aerostructures is looking for a Quality Line Side Support (d/m/w) at the Nordenham site. The Nordenham site, with around 4,000 employees, forms the center for shell and section construction as well as large sheet metal production for Airbus Aerostructures GmbH. In the field of integrated shell production, Nordenham is one of the most modern production sites worldwide. Automated and highly innovative manufacturing technologies enable the construction of components for the most modern aircraft at the Nordenham site. Around 5,000 fuselage shells and fully assembled fuselage sections for almost all Airbus family aircraft leave the Nordenham plant annually. Technological focuses at the Nordenham site include profile production, stretching of large-area metal structures, metal bonding, and the production and assembly of carbon fiber components. You work in Nordenham between the Wadden Sea and the Lower Weser, characterized by idyllic landscapes and kilometers of views to the horizon. For a big city feel, Bremerhaven, Bremen and Oldenburg are within commuting distance.

• Conducting quality inspections according to defined standards and processing/checking associated documentation, e.g. conducting series, rework and special inspections (FEMI release, spot check), final inspections, release and certification of aircraft components/sections, safety inspections, inspection of residual work
• Checking completeness of the process sequence according to partial process variant
• Ensuring complete recording of the construction status in IT tools (e.g. SAP, AHP, MES)
• Application and evaluation of deviations according to construction documents and their regulations (AIPI/AIPS), CER and DTN taking into account the QM system
• Checking documentation on test reports and initiation and completion
• Conducting first article inspections and their documentation
• Contact person (d/m/w) and support for Quality Authorisation (QA) L1 and QA L2 inspectors regarding their inspection activities within the production organization
• Final checks for external customer / handover of internal Q-gates / certification & validation
• Creation of non-conformities and concessions and their control and closure
• CPB and PPS participation and contribution
• Application of the “Intervention Card Process” FOD
• Contact person for quality issues during customer visits and issuance of certificate of conformity
• Independent and continuous further training within the QM system (processes, regulations, etc.)

• Several years of experience in structural assembly in aircraft construction (mandatory)
• Job-specific, at least three-year vocational training and many years of professional experience in the production of aircraft
• Reliability, sense of responsibility, resilience and teamwork
• High degree of initiative and independent work style
• PC/IT system and SAP knowledge
• Willingness to work shifts (3-shift) and to undergo further training
• Advanced English skills (level B1)
