About this Apprenticeship
To support the 'Weapon System Rig Integration' department, Airbus Defence and Space in Manching is looking for an electrician in test and training facilities. The 'Weapon System Rigs' main department is responsible for engineering all test facilities on site used for avionics and flight control (hydraulics) qualification and certification.
What You'll Learn
- Modifying and assisting with the integration of test and training facilities (control cabinets, cockpits)
- Acceptance and technical safety of test and training equipment according to common standards (CE testing)
- Support in troubleshooting and repairing industrial control cabinet units
- Measurement and repair work in electrics and electronics
- Applying and being responsible for compliance with regulations such as VDE0100, 105 DGUV3, VDE 701/702, EN62368
- Helping to implement and improve work instructions
- Helping to optimize designs for functionality and cost efficiency
Requirements
- Training as an electrician (m/f/d) specializing in electrical installation or as an industrial electronics technician (m/f/d) specializing in systems technology with at least two years of field-specific experience
- Knowledge of complying with regulations VDE0100, 105 DGUV3, VDE 701/702, EN62368
- Knowledge of control cabinet construction is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of CE conformity is desirable
- Enjoy teamwork, structured working and intrinsic motivation
- Willingness to occasionally travel worldwide on business
- Negotiation-level German, spoken and written
- Good technical English is an advantage
