• Assuming responsibility as an IT System Engineer for Windows Server environments
• Support, administration, and development of DNS, DHCP, DFS, Server Virtualization (Hyper-V), and Windows Update Service (WSUS)
• Consulting on Active Directory topics
• Collaboration in the development of role and authorization models
• Implementation of security concepts in the Windows environment (e.g., IT-Grundschutz – BSI, CERTBw)
• Automation of recurring routines/tasks through scripts (e.g., PowerShell)
• Development of strategies for the further development of our systems
• Support with system documentation and proposal creation

• Completed degree in computer science or, if applicable, with an Ausbildung as an IT-Fachinformatiker/in with several years of professional experience in the mentioned area of responsibility
• Several years of professional experience in the IT environment with a focus on the design and development of IT systems and communication infrastructures.
• Willingness to work independently and autonomously
• High degree of willingness to learn and the ability for efficient time management
• Knowledge of DOORS or a comparable requirements management tool
• High degree of quality awareness, analytical and structured way of working, assertiveness as well as strong team and communication skills
• Experience in the specification, design, implementation, integration, testing and acceptance of complex systems
• Knowledge of the integration of systems into military vehicle platforms
• VS-NfD checked
• Class B driver's license
