In the 2-year apprenticeship as a salesperson or the 3-year apprenticeship as a retail management assistant, you will learn how retail processes work: from ordering goods through receipt, presentation and storage to sales and sales-promoting measures.

Acceptance of goods deliveries, shelving goods and product presentation, freshness checks in fruit and vegetable section, ensuring availability of baked goods, cashiering and cash reconciliation, ensuring order and cleanliness in the store

A school leaving certificate (qualified secondary school certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate), enthusiasm for food and consumer goods, motivation, initiative and reliability, numeracy skills and desire to apply them actively, team spirit and enjoyment of customer contact, good German skills (at least level B1) to ensure smooth communication with customers
