Apprenticeship as Fresh Food Specialist

This three-year apprenticeship leads to two IHK qualifications and combines creativity, enthusiasm for working with people and commercial talent with professional and social skills. After passing the exams, you qualify as a Retail Salesperson with the additional qualification of Certified Fresh Food Specialist (IHK).

Responsible for purchasing, marketing, product presentation and sales; serve and advise customers in the fresh-food departments; contribute your own creations; supervise merchandise management and retail business processes; learn all retail activities with a focus on fresh-food and service-oriented areas; learn to comply with and monitor hygiene regulations.
