About this Apprenticeship
The ALDI Nord group is one of the leading food retailers. With a tradition of over 110 years, ALDI stands for the invention of the discount principle. Our mission is to supply people everywhere and at any time with what they need for their daily lives: quality products at low prices – simple and fast. This also includes making shopping as easy as possible for our customers. For this we give our best every day and reinvent ourselves again and again. United talent and commitment – that is the power with which we write success stories. Europe-wide in 8 countries with around 5,500 stores and more than 90,000 employees. The three-year dual study program is characterized by the combination of theory and practice phases – twelve weeks of academic study at DHBW Mannheim alternate with twelve weeks of professional practice. During your studies you focus on acquiring sound business management skills and deepen them with specific knowledge from the field of forwarding, transport & logistics. This includes intelligent concepts for transport, storage and picking that enable smooth logistics processes, as well as the necessary know-how to control and further develop these processes. Depending on your personal interest you can specialize in four subject areas during your studies. An exciting extra of this study direction: impressive excursions to the North Sea ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg and Bremerhaven. During your practical phases you will rotate mainly through the logistics departments. We design the practical phases so that you can apply study content and discover personal strengths and interests through the diverse insights.
