CNC Machinist Turning Technology

Getriebebau NORD is looking for a machinist for CNC turning technology at the main site in Bargteheide. Full-time, permanent, starting immediately.

• Independently setting up and operating CNC turning/milling machines
• Producing single parts and very small series, focusing on shaft machining
• Selecting and setting up tools and clamping devices
• Visual inspection and measuring of manufactured parts (100% check)
• Optimizing machining processes and fixing simple faults when needed
• Performing maintenance and cleaning work (e.g. refilling lubricants and coolant, cleaning guideways)

• Completed vocational training as a machinist (gn) or comparable
• Professional experience in CNC turning
• Confident handling of technical drawings and measuring tools
• Experience with Siemens controls desirable
• Independent, quality-conscious way of working
• Good German skills, spoken and written
