Retail Management Training Programme for School Leavers

A three-year programme at ALDI SÜD leading to qualifications as a retail salesperson, a state-certified retail management specialist and a trainer under AEVO rules. From month 18, you can take on leadership duties and develop as a trainee deputy store manager.

• Display and care for goods, keeping products in good condition and looking appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Operate the checkout and help customers complete their shopping in a friendly, safe and quick way.
• Create a good shopping experience, respond thoughtfully to customers' needs and maintain a pleasant store environment.
• Organise the stockroom, keep it tidy and carry out stock counts with the team.
• Take responsibility for stock management and store organisation from month 18.

• Good Abitur or Fachabitur results and an existing qualification that allows entry to a university of applied sciences in Germany, for a start on 1 August.
• Willingness to work hard, determination, assertiveness and a practical approach to getting things done.
• Team spirit, communication skills and enjoyment of working and sharing ideas with others.
• Reliability and flexibility to work before and during the store's opening hours.
