Retail and Advanced Retail Management Training

Three-year training programme at ALDI SÜD leading to qualifications as a retail specialist, a state-certified retail business specialist and a trainer under AEVO. From month 18, you can take on management responsibilities as a trainee deputy store manager.

• Display and care for products: Keep our products in excellent condition and looking appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Work at the checkout: Be a friendly face who helps customers complete their shopping safely, quickly and smoothly.
• Create special shopping experiences: Understand customers' wishes, offer helpful service and make the store a pleasant place to shop.
• Organise the stockroom and carry out stocktakes: Look after stored goods, keep things tidy and maintain an overview during stocktakes, working together and supporting others.
• From month 18, take responsibility for inventory management and store organisation, putting your strengths to use.

• Strong results in your Abitur or Fachabitur: Start on 1 August if you already hold a qualification that allows entry to a university of applied sciences in Germany.
• Willingness to work hard, determination and assertiveness: You take action and get things done.
• Teamwork and communication skills: You enjoy interacting and sharing ideas with others.
• Reliability and flexibility: You can handle the demands of working before and during your store's opening hours.
