Retail and Retail Management Training Programme with Trainer Qualification

Three-year training programme at ALDI SÜD leading to qualifications in retail sales, advanced retail management and vocational training under AEVO. From month 18, you take on leadership duties and can develop towards a deputy store manager role as a trainee.

• Display and look after goods: maintain product quality and keep everything looking appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Operate the checkout: help customers complete their shopping in a friendly, safe and quick way.
• Create enjoyable shopping experiences: respond thoughtfully to customers' needs and help create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Organise the stockroom and carry out stock counts: look after stored goods, keep things tidy and keep track during stock counts, working with and supporting your team.
• From month 18, take responsibility for stock management and store organisation and put your strengths to use.

• Strong upper secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent entrance qualification: start on 1 August if you already hold a qualification that allows entry to a university of applied sciences in Germany.
• Willingness to work hard, determination and confidence in standing your ground: you take action and get things done.
• Teamwork and communication skills: you enjoy interacting and sharing ideas with others.
• Reliability and flexibility: you can handle work before and during your store's opening hours.
