School Leaver Programme in Retail Management

At ALDI SÜD, you earn three qualifications within three years: retail sales professional, state-certified retail management specialist and trainer certification under AEVO. You take on leadership responsibilities from month 18.

• Display and maintain goods: Ensure our products are of excellent quality and always look appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Operate the checkout: Be the friendly face helping customers complete their shopping safely and quickly.
• Create special shopping experiences: Respond thoughtfully to customers' wishes and create a great shopping atmosphere.
• Organise the stockroom and carry out stocktakes: Look after stored goods, keep things tidy and maintain an overview during stocktakes, working with and supporting your team.
• From month 18, take responsibility for stock management and store organisation, putting your strengths to use.

• Strong Abitur or Fachabitur results: Start on 1 August if you already hold a qualification that allows you to enter a university of applied sciences in Germany.
• Willingness to work hard, determination and assertiveness: You take action and get things done.
• Team spirit and communication skills: You enjoy interacting and sharing ideas with others.
• Reliability and flexibility: You handle the demands of working before and during your store's opening hours.
