Apprenticeship as a sales assistant / retail specialist

Food retail apprenticeship at ALDI SÜD. You will learn product presentation, checkout work, customer service and stockroom organisation, with the chance of continued employment as a sales assistant or further training to qualify as a retail specialist.

• Present and look after products: Keep products in excellent condition and make sure they always look appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Work at the checkout: Be a friendly face who helps customers complete their shopping safely, quickly and confidently.
• Create enjoyable shopping experiences: Respond to customers' wishes with care and help create a pleasant shopping atmosphere.
• Organise the stockroom and carry out stocktakes: Look after stored goods, keep things tidy and help the team keep track of stock during inventories.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn: Whatever school qualification you have, whether a lower secondary certificate, intermediate secondary certificate or a university entrance qualification, what matters is that you are ready to learn new things and develop your skills.
• Teamwork: You enjoy working with people and are always friendly.
• Active and energetic: You are physically fit and enjoy being on the move, with little time for boredom.
• Reliability: You are punctual and flexible within your store's operating and opening hours.
