Retail Sales Assistant / Retail Management Apprenticeship

ALDI SÜD offers retail training with tasks in product displays, customer service, checkout work and stockroom management. After training, there are opportunities to stay as a sales assistant or continue towards a retail management qualification.

• Displaying and looking after products: Keep products in excellent condition and make sure they look appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Operating the checkout: Be the friendly person who helps customers complete their shopping safely and quickly.
• Creating a pleasant shopping experience: Listen carefully to customers' wishes and help create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Organising the stockroom and taking inventory: Look after stock, keep things tidy and stay organised during stocktakes, working together and supporting the team.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn: Whatever school qualification you hold, whether a Hauptschule or Realschule certificate or a qualification for university or university of applied sciences entry, what matters is that you are ready to learn and develop.
• Teamwork: You enjoy working with people and are always friendly.
• Energy and activity: You are physically fit and enjoy moving around. There is plenty to keep you busy.
• Reliability: You are punctual and flexible within your store's working and opening hours.
