Retail Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship at ALDI SÜD covering product displays, customer service, checkout work and stockroom tasks. Benefits include digital learning tools, support with final exams and good chances of staying as a sales assistant or progressing to a retail management qualification.

• Display and look after products: Keep our products in excellent condition and looking appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Work at the checkout: Be the friendly face helping customers complete their shopping safely, quickly and confidently.
• Create special shopping experiences: Make a difference through your service, respond thoughtfully to customers' wishes and create a great shopping atmosphere.
• Organise the stockroom and carry out stocktaking: Look after stored goods, keep things tidy and keep track during stocktaking, working with and supporting your team.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn: Whatever school leaving certificate you have, whether from Hauptschule, Realschule or an upper secondary school, what matters is that you are ready to learn new things and develop.
• Team spirit: You enjoy working with people and are always friendly.
• Active and energetic: You are fit and enjoy moving around, so there is no time for boredom.
• Reliability: You are punctual and flexible within your store's operating and opening hours, which matters to us.
