Sales Assistant Apprenticeship with the Option to Qualify as a Retail Specialist

Apprenticeship at ALDI SÜD with tasks in sales, at the checkout and in the stockroom. Digital training supports learning and preparation for the final exam. After training, there are opportunities for a permanent sales assistant role or further training to qualify as a retail specialist.

• Display and look after products: Keep products in excellent condition and make sure they look appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Operate the checkout: Be a friendly face who helps customers complete their shopping safely and quickly.
• Create a great shopping experience: Understand customers' needs, provide helpful service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Organise the stockroom and carry out stocktakes: Look after stored goods, keep things tidy and track stock during counts, working with and supporting your team.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn: Whatever school leaving certificate you hold, whether lower secondary, intermediate or a university entrance qualification, you should be ready to learn new things and develop your skills.
• Teamwork: You enjoy working with people and are always friendly.
• Active and energetic: You are physically fit and enjoy moving around, with no time for boredom.
• Reliability: You are punctual and flexible within your store's operating and opening hours.
