Sales Assistant Apprenticeship with an Option to Qualify as a Retail Sales Specialist

Apprenticeship in food retail at ALDI SÜD. You will learn product presentation, checkout work, customer service and stockroom organisation. After training, there are good chances of being offered a sales assistant job or continuing towards a retail sales specialist qualification.

• Present and look after products: Keep products in excellent condition and looking appealing, from fresh fruit to special offers.
• Work at the checkout: Be a friendly face who helps customers complete their shopping accurately and quickly.
• Create enjoyable shopping experiences: Respond thoughtfully to customers' wishes and help make the store a pleasant place to shop.
• Organise the stockroom and carry out stocktakes: Look after stored goods, keep things tidy and maintain an overview during stocktakes while supporting your team.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn: Whatever school qualification you have, whether a lower or intermediate secondary school certificate or a university entrance qualification, what matters is being ready to learn and develop.
• Teamwork: You enjoy working with people and are always friendly.
• Active and energetic: You are physically fit and enjoy moving around, leaving no room for boredom.
• Reliability: You are punctual and flexible within your store's operating and opening hours.
