Specialist Logistics Process Optimization and Data Analysis

As a specialist in logistics, process optimization and data analysis, you analyze logistics processes using data, support colleagues with improvements and coordinate optimization projects in the logistics centers.

• Holistic analysis: carrying out comprehensive, data-based analyses of logistics processes within the organization, using innovative methods such as value stream analysis and developing best practices
• Empowering colleagues: enabling colleagues on site to identify potential for improvement and actively supporting them in implementing process optimization measures. Preparing and giving presentations to different audiences
• Coaching and advice: regular exchange with managers and operational logistics staff for the continuous improvement of the organization
• Auditing: checking the implementation of process optimization methods, supporting the implementation of measures and realizing potential for further development
• Project coordination: coordinating process optimization projects in the logistics centers, including working with different business areas. This also includes tracking the progress and cost-effectiveness of measures through reporting and cost-benefit tracking

• Completed degree in business administration or comparable training, ideally with a focus on logistics or SCM
• First practical experience in logistics, warehouse management or operational supply chain environments is desirable
• Enthusiasm for process optimization, lean management and the further development of logistics processes
• Very good analytical understanding and the ability to capture, evaluate and further develop complex processes in a structured way
• First experience in handling tasks or smaller projects in a structured way, and a conceptual, solution-oriented way of working
• Confident use of Excel and PowerPoint
• High willingness to travel, due to on-site phases of several days at our ALDI SÜD locations in Germany
