Physician Hospital Hygiene

The Clemenshospital and Raphaelsklinik in Münster are looking for a committed person in hospital hygiene as soon as possible. You shape hygiene standards, advise across disciplines and contribute to patient safety and quality assurance.

• Advising hospital management and departments on all questions of hospital hygiene and infection prevention
• Further developing and implementing modern hygiene and prevention concepts at both sites and leading six employees
• Supporting hygiene-related measures such as inspections, isolation measures and microbiological controls
• Ensuring implementation of legal requirements, guidelines and internal hygiene standards
• Leading and moderating hygiene committee meetings
• Carrying out training, practical instruction and regular hygiene rounds
• Contributing to quality assurance measures and continuous optimization of hygiene processes

• Specialist recognition in hygiene and environmental medicine or in microbiology, virology and infection epidemiology, or completed structured curricular training in "hospital hygiene"
• Sound knowledge of hospital hygiene and the relevant legal requirements
• Structured, independent and practical way of working with a high quality awareness
• Strong communication skills, advisory competence and confident presence in interdisciplinary cooperation
• High reliability, discretion and confident use of digital applications and MS Office
