Apprenticeship as Nursing Assistant

An 18-month apprenticeship in theory and practice with a state examination to become a certified nursing assistant.

Participation in the care, supply and support of our patients. Performance of nursing, diagnostic and medically ordered tasks, e.g. vital sign checks, medication administration and personal hygiene under the overall responsibility of qualified nursing staff. Accompaniment and care of sick and care-dependent people of all age groups. Proper documentation of nursing care.

A school diploma (at least lower secondary school leaving certificate) or equivalent education or a completed vocational training. A B2 language certificate if you obtained your school diploma outside Germany. In addition, measles vaccination is mandatory for employees in the healthcare sector. Proof of instruction according to § 43 Infection Protection Act ("red card"). St. Gertrauden Hospital does not cover any resulting costs.

An 18-month apprenticeship in theory and practice with a state examination to become a certified nursing assistant. Monthly apprenticeship remuneration: 1st year €1,114.91, 2nd year €1,173.21. Christmas bonus (collectively agreed annual special payment of 90% of the average July, August, and September remuneration, paid end of November). Vacation entitlement 30 days per year.
