Occupational Therapist Palliative Ward

At three hospital locations in the heart of South Westphalia, we work daily with the utmost commitment for the health and well-being of people in the region. • Development of individual treatment concepts: Together with doctors, nurses and other therapists, you develop tailored therapy plans specifically adapted to the needs and quality of life of patients on our palliative ward. The focus is on promoting well-being and maintaining everyday skills.
• Occupational therapy care: You take over the occupational therapy treatment of our patients and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic and best possible care. The focus is on relieving discomfort and supporting coping with daily life.

• Completed training as an Occupational Therapist (m/f/d): You have successfully completed your training in occupational therapy? Perfect, that is the basis for your work with us.
• Creativity and empathy: You are creative and like to develop individual therapy approaches tailored to your patients' needs? Your empathy helps you build a trusting relationship and promote the independence and quality of life of your patients.
• Patient-oriented, friendly and confident demeanor: You present yourself professionally, confidently and friendly? Then you can convey the trust and well-being our patients need. Your orientation to the individual needs of patients is particularly important to us.
• Flexibility, reliability and teamwork: You are flexible and master daily challenges with different patients? Your reliability and teamwork make you a valuable support in our interdisciplinary team.
• First professional experience in the field: You have already gained initial practical experience? That is a plus, but not a must.
