Early years educator or disability support worker, OGS Förderzentrum Ost in Viersen

Alexianer ViaNobis Jugendhilfe Schloss Dilborn is seeking educators or disability support workers to start as soon as possible at the after-school programme at Förderzentrum Ost in Viersen. This is a 75% part-time position supporting children in grades one to four with learning and emotional and social development needs.

• Care for and support 16 children during their daily routine between 10:00 and 16:00
• Supervise free play and guided play
• Support creative and physical activities
• Lead a group and guide an assistant
• Help with homework and support children by building on their strengths
• Use educational approaches to resolve conflicts
• Work closely with school leaders, teachers and parents

• Completed vocational training as a state-recognised educator or disability support worker (m/f/d)
• Experience in educational work, ideally in an after-school programme
• Enjoy helping shape school as a place for learning and everyday life
• A strong interest in working with children who show challenging behaviour
