IT System Administrator for the Rhineland Network

Alexianer IT GmbH is the IT service company of Alexianer GmbH. It supports Alexianer facilities nationwide in a network with numerous hospitals, senior and care facilities, and many other facilities. 300 IT colleagues at various locations in Germany handle all IT matters for our >35,000 employees at 20,000 endpoints, ensuring reliable and future-oriented alignment.

• You maintain, administer the hospital's IT infrastructure (servers, networks, virtual systems, clients, printers, patient entertainment, Cisco telephony) and develop it further together with colleagues.
• You ensure that essential systems (e.g. KIS, PACS, and other medical IT applications) are available. You participate in first- and second-level support for medical and administrative staff.
• You perform regular system updates and are also responsible for backup and recovery strategies.
• You participate in IT projects, e.g. for introducing new systems or digitizing clinical processes. You document changes in your area.
• You work with external service providers and manufacturers. Cross-departmental collaboration and project implementation. Support in complying with legal requirements (e.g. GDPR, KRITIS, IT Security Act, NIS-2).

• Successfully completed training as IT specialist (m/f/d), ideally with professional experience in a hospital or healthcare sector.
• Good knowledge of VOIP telephony (Cisco Callmanager / Siemens Unify), expertise in Cisco network components, and NAC Arp-Guard an advantage. Knowledge of connecting medical products to IT systems and hospital information systems. Know-how in clinical application systems (e.g. Dedalus ORBIS, E&L CWD) and database systems (MySQL/MS SQL) desired.
• Knowledge of telematics infrastructure, ideally good understanding of clinical and administrative processes in hospital environment. Analytical thinking, high service orientation, and independent, responsible, structured work approach.
• Good communication and team skills, willingness to perform.
• Your communication strength: Confident demeanor is natural for you. Thanks to your business-fluent German and English skills, you support our users confidently and solution-oriented in both conversation and writing.
• You have sufficient measles protection per § 20 IfSG.
• For starting with us, we need a current certificate of good conduct from you.
• Class B driver's license.
