Medical Assistant, Psychiatry

The outpatient psychiatric clinic (PIA) and substitution clinic at the Adlershof Center for Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine of Hedwigshöhe Hospital is looking for a medical assistant (m/f/d). You support people with mental illness and addiction during their outpatient treatment and work in a dedicated multi-professional team. The position is part-time (max. 32h/week).

• Organization and coordination of outpatient consultation hours and appointment management
• Care and admission of our patients and support of the doctors' consultation hours
• Performing medical tasks, e.g. blood draws, intramuscular injections, vital sign checks, laboratory diagnostics and medication preparation
• Dispensing medication and proper handling of narcotics according to legal requirements
• Administrative tasks, including documentation, prescription and order management, phone and email correspondence and ordering
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and active participation in developing work processes

• Completed training as a medical assistant / MFA / doctor's assistant (m/f/d)
• Ideally professional experience in an outpatient practice, psychiatry, psychosomatics or addiction medicine
• Experience in organizing consultation hours and in day-to-day practice administration is an advantage
• Team spirit combined with a self-reliant way of working
• Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of Orbis and TurboMed is desirable
